November Runs

In Southern California, November is race season and a 5k, marathon or anything in between is the perfect way to get a head start on holiday resolutions. Sign up for the Marauder Visionary Turkey Trot in South Gate November 18th, and you’ll still have plenty of buffer time before the long weekend. The third annual event includes live entertainment, some sweet swag and plenty of cheerleaders along the beautiful route.

There’s also the Be the Match fun run and walk, also on November 18th, in Long Beach. Support the non-profit while taking advantage of a gorgeous route with views of the Pacific. Proceeds benefit research for bone cancer treatment, and you’ll also have an opportunity to take a quick swab test and sign up to be on the donor match list yourself.

A Run to Remember

Turkey Trot Los Angeles on November 23rd offers a 10k, 5k and kids one-miler, so it’s fun for the whole family. Take to the streets of downtown L.A. in the early morning. Costumes are encouraged, and you’ll have plenty to gobble about at the finish line with non-stop fun, entertainment and plenty of holiday-themed treats to up your energy.

Want a bigger challenge on the 23rd? Check out the XTERRA Topanga Turkey Trot, where you can sign up for their 15k route. The trail run is a fun introduction for beginners, but still a challenge for veteran trail runners. It also gives you the thrills of racing through the wild of Topanga.

Where will you wobble before you gobble?
